Free Cloud Storage and Innovations: Cause of Alienation
With today’s technology, there seems to be nothing that can be done together as a family. Everyone appears to be glued at their individual monitors uploading their files in free cloud storage in the internet or just simply fidgeting with their latest electronic gadgets. Socializing now is limited to logging in to Facebook or Twitter, looking at photos of friends and posting some comments or changing their profiles. Everyone now seems to be entrenched in their own cubbyholes, unmindful of the things happening around them. Children are stuck in their rooms with eyes fixed on the monitor or simply playing a boxing match in their PSPs. The world is so caught up with gadgets and innovations that the simple, basic human interaction is becoming less important. Yes, you can communicate easier now with emails or mobile phones. Yes, the internet has erased the boundaries of time and geography. But such advancements have also alienated us from other people. No matter how effortless it is now to communicate, nothing still can replace a real, face-to-face conversation with another person over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. No matter how easy it is to see photos of places, nothing can replace the actual experience of being physically present in a locality and coming into contact with the people living there.
Are moustaches cool?
Back in my day, a moustache was definitely a symbol of coolness. All the iconic film stars would don a moustache on a regular basis – the likes of Tom Selleck, Charles Bronson, Clark Gable and Burt Reynolds would all been seen sporting a hairy upper lip.
Nowadays it is rarer for a man to have a moustache, times have definitely changed and so it seems to have gone out of fashion somewhat. However, with that said, that’s not to mean moustaches can’t look cool on an individual.
